The Reverend Dr. Rick Vance has served as a pastor in the Peninsula Delaware Annual Conference for 25 years. Rick now serves as director of men’s ministry at the General Commission on United Methodist Men.  He received his A.A. from Wor-Wic Community College in Radiologic Technology, and worked in the health care field for 12 years prior to becoming a pastor. He received a B.S. in adult education from Salisbury University and a Master's of Divinity and a Doctor in Ministry degree in leadership excellence from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC. He is the co-founder of “Temple Keeper Ministry” a ministry devoted to physical and spiritual health and wholeness.  He is a national and international speaker, speaking across the US and In India.

The Reverend Jacques A. Conway is District Superintendent for the Southern District of the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church.  He is an ordained Elder and has served in both associate and senior pastor positions in the Conference.  He was raised on Chicago’s South Side, a member of Rush Memorial United Methodist Church and, while in college, serving as its Youth Leader and Lay Speaker. He is the first African-American to retire from the Oak Park Police Department, Oak Park, Illinois, as the Senior Sergeant of Patrol, after twenty-four years of service.  Northern Illinois Conference Bishop Sally Dyck celebrates Reverend Conway’s experience in ministry and his rich and varied experience by saying, “Reverend Conway brings a passion for justice and mercy through his experiences with people who are in need. He has worked with a diversity of people that serve him well in the Chicago Southern District.”  Despite his many accomplishments, if you asked Pastor Conway who he is, he would simply reply, “…to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with my God.”
